Capacity Building
The centre provides short courses and training programs about research for junior researchers, students and organizations. The training focuses on two main fields: professional skills which are research skills in specialized knowledge areas (e.g. impact evaluation) and technical skills which are techniques generally used for many purposes (e.g. data visualization).

Effectiveness is “doing the right things”. Efficiency is “do the things right”
Nowadays, the most common way to assess the performance of the entity is to measure the effectiveness or efficiency of the organization. This requires the administrator to have the experience to achieve high performance for the organization. You need to gain the best results with the least amount of resources and the ability to successfully complete an organization’s mission.
This course will provide methods of measuring efficiency and effectiveness for individuals and organizations. We provide this course with the desire to help learners understand deeply about management skills and improve career advancement opportunities. More specifically, we also support developing the management capacity, making the best use of limited resources and building ways to increase productivity and minimize costs.
Impact Evaluation
Impact evaluation often serves to determine if and how well a program worked and choose the most effective approach among several alternatives. That is one of the essential professional skills of policymakers and research experts.
In this course, we will give you the skill to evaluate relies on rigorous methods to determine the changes in outcomes which can be attributed to a specific intervention based on the cause-and-effect analysis. This also helps to account for the counterfactual, – what would have occurred without the intervention using an experimental or quasi-experimental design using comparison and treatment groups.
Firm performance
We understand that performance measurement is critical to a company’s effective management and serves as the main provider to the perceptual and organization/control abilities of the firm. We provide a course that helps you to measure and better understand the performance of your organization with the metrics and tools.
The main learning objective is performance measurement to study and define management strategies. You also understand the organization’s methods of predicting future internal and external situations; monitoring state and behavior relative to its goals, and making decisions in the necessary stages.

Data visualization is progressively becoming a specialized skill, as most enterprises and organizations become increasingly data-driven. Data visualization is understood as the communication of information and data through graphical representation. It allows you to interact with data, make complex analysis simple, and engage people’s interest in the information.
So, we offer a training course that instructs the fundamental skills of data visualization. Our main goal is to provide methods and tools to analyze information faster, recognize outliers, patterns, and trends, and find valuable insights. Data is represented using a graph, chart, map, or other visual formats. It will improve your professional skillset and support your career in the future.
Spatial Course
Spatial analysis is a set of discovery techniques that include the process of modelling problems geographically, retrieving results, and then examining those results. It is a skill that helps you solve location-oriented problems and understand more about your world. Spatial analysis is often used in an analysis of different social aspects, such as urban spatial structure, economic geography, voting patterns, epidemiology, demographics, etc.
This course is designed to assist you in performing the efficient conversion of spatial data into visual information. Simultaneously, this also emphasizes that spatial analysis is highly effective in estimating the geographical relevance of certain locations for specific purposes, and identifying important patterns hidden in your information. Thereby, the course provides you with better data recognition skills for more accurate decision-making.
